In a Pharmacy Technician role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the home delivery prescriptions for our members arrive safely and on-time. Working Schedule: Qualified candidates must be available to work within the hours of 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday with mandatory overtime as needed.
Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels
Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary
Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines, order picker, forklift, etc.)
This role is challenging. You'll need to have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members' health and well-being.

High School Diploma / GED or higher
Pharmacy Technician licensing and registration as required (or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment)
Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
Ability to work within the hours of 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday with mandatory overtime as needed to include Fridays.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis
You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
