In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. This state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. This position will be in Kansas City, MO
Manage customer orders overseeing scope, schedule, and cost over the life cycle of each order. Ensure timely completion of scope and tasks to negotiated schedule dates and budgets. Represent FM&T as primary point of contact for order and/or demand management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing reimbursable orders which includes preparing cost and delivery quotes, managing funding and costs, managing demand schedules and shipments, ensuring completion within negotiated dates and budgets, and completing closeout activities
Interface and build strong relationships with internal and external contacts. Interact with Program Managers, Projects Managers, Supply Chain, Finance, and other personnel to effectively manage assigned work
Evaluate project/order status and potential issues; initiate contact with appropriate organizations to resolve issues
Negotiate plans and changes with customers and internal contacts to assure development/qualification schedules are met
Prepare, analyze and monitor status of cost estimates for reimbursable contracts to ensure no cost overruns
Routinely use supply chain knowledge and FM&T ERP system to gather required information.
Participate in project status meetings with business units
Participate in business improvement changes and problem-solving to improve organizational effectiveness efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma tools and concepts
May perform other duties as required

You Must Have:
US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a business/analyst role or internship
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field is preferred
Understanding of Project Management methodology and contract management concepts
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ERP/MRP application
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, demand management, contract management, and financial management
Ability to work with multiple teams of people and inspire those teams to work together to reach a common goal
Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles
Green Belt certification
Ability to travel up to 10%
