Core Catalysts, LLC Process Engineer in Overland Park, Kansas
Core Catalysts is hiring a Process Engineer to join our client's growing team! This full-time role is based on site at their Overland Park, KS office. This role will spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across various departments.
This role will ensure projects and initiatives are implemented into the Company within timelines as well as enabling communication on project progress, roadblocks, and milestone achievements. Working in concert with the Leadership Team, this role will prioritize opportunities and lead cross-functional teams to improve internal and customer facing business processes. Ultimate goals will be to increase efficiency, standardize processes, and enable scalable systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Guiding cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across departments
Provide focus and drive to achieve business outcomes
Ability to prioritize based on ROI and impact of competing initiatives
Process Improvement:
Apply industrial engineering principles to analyze and redesign workflows for optimal efficiency.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to instill a continuous improvement culture.
Communicate project goals, status updates, and results to team members and leadership.
Building and implementing SOPs with attached KPIs
Project and Change Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring project alignment with business objectives.
Develop comprehensive project documentation to provide status and ensure smooth project execution.
Develop change management strategies to ensure adoption of solutions and achievement of outcomes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders, showcasing insights and recommendations.
Provide research, planning and analysis on a range of strategic projects and initiatives

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
5+ years of work experience in continuous improvement or project management roles.
Proven experience in leading successful process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred
Skills & Abilities
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Solid business acumen and strategic agility with ability to think both at a high level and get into the details to identify opportunities for improvement
Exhibit self-motivation and flexibility, strong problem solving skills, strong leadership skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
Willing and able to travel domestically approximately 20% of the year
