Propio Language Services Product Manager in Overland Park, Kansas

Propio is transforming communication by developing tools and technologies that make it easier and more efficient for clients to engage with the Limited English Proficiency Population to improve access to healthcare and essential services in social services, education, legal and many others.

Propio is rapidly growing and becoming a nationwide force and is looking to hire a motivated and driven Product Manager to join our new Product Development Team!

We are seeking candidates driven to continue elevating the Company and its success in the marketplace which increases the growth for our associates and business.


  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize product-level issues and experience gaps; uses findings to determine short and medium-term risks and opportunities for the product(s).

  • Transform business requirements into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and use cases for responsible products, product features and/or product releases.

  • Create mockups, wireframes, workflow diagrams, prototypes, etc. (often in conjunction with UI/UX teams) in support of user stories.

  • Lead regular review sessions (grooming) of prepared requirements and/or bug backlogs with development teams to provide development direction and prioritization.

  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog based on defined business value and aligned with product strategy and resource capacity; uses data and analytics to prioritize backlog and/or make trade-off decisions to ensure continuous delivery of business value.

  • Align efforts across product teams, prioritizing as necessary, and driving/facilitating execution to maintain focus and appropriate momentum.

  • Build and leverage solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and technology teams to facilitate successful product creation.

  • Participate in the sprint planning process to ensure teams have clearly defined objectives in alignment with product strategy.

  • Oversee UAT sessions with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met; incorporates feedback into backlog and future product releases.

  • Participate and support development teams during deployment of product software to production.

  • Coordinate and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders regarding internal product service desk requests including but not limited to bugs, new feature requests and enhancements, reporting, etc.

  • Provide visibility to cross-functional teams, including engineering teams and business functions, communicating the product roadmap(s) and keeping everyone informed of updates.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for internal stakeholders when it comes to the intricacies or mechanics of the product(s).


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field.

  • Experience as a business analyst, project management, product management, business analysis or program management.

  • Preferred experience in product management or agile development role, with experience building SaaS technology products or managed services a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working cross‐functionally with internal and external clients.

  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables.

  • Experience working in Agile (DevOps, Jira, etc.) and Product Management tools.

  • Experience with data collection, extraction, analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.

  • Experience with prototyping, wireframing, and UI/UX design and collaboration tools such as Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Mockplus, etc.
