SelectQuote Project Communications Coordinator in Overland Park, Kansas

Job Summary:

This position works with internal stakeholders across specified divisions in SelectQuote to determine IT project requests and establishes priority. Using this project priority, this position will create and maintain IT roadmaps, communicating status updates with internal stakeholders in both the business and IT teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Attend regular status meetings with internal stakeholders, determining project priority

  • Capture all details on IT project requests, maintaining these requests in a central repository

  • Create IT roadmaps based on current and future projects

  • Communicate regular status updates with division stakeholders on IT project status

  • Partner with IT Business Analyst team in kicking off project discovery

  • Work with IT Solutions Team to have requests pointed

  • Partner with the Go To Market Team on project roadmaps and roll outs

  • Communicate with IT PMs on project status and releases

  • Present timelines and sprint plans to Business leadership

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to reason and think logically

  • Ability to monitor and manage multiple project priorities simultaneously across multiple divisions

  • Basic project management knowledge of methods and practices

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Moderate knowledge of application development practices

  • Knowledge of Google applications

  • Strong organization skills

Training & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or equivalent work experience)
