Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm CST.
Travel: Up to 25%. Candidates must live in Kansas or within 50 miles of the state border.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in end-to-end provider claims processing and resolution
Assist in efforts to enhance ease of use of physician portal and future services enhancements
Assist in identifying gaps in network composition and services to support network contracting and development teams
Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
Work exclusively within a specific knowledge area
Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.

Analyzes and investigates claim issues
Responsible for training providers on a variety of topics in both small and large settings
*This position requires that you reside in the State of Kansas or within 50 miles of the Kansas State border. It this requirement is met, telecommuting is a possible benefit.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working with Medical Providers
1+ years of experience with Medicaid Regulations
1+ years of experience in providing training or education
1+ years of both professional and institutional Medical claims/billing experience
Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Ability to work independently and remain on task with little to no day to day supervision
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi staff members through the department
Ability to travel on up to 25% of the time within the state of Kansas
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience of KS Medicaid
2+ years of provider relations and / or network management
2+ years of experience of both professional and institutional Medical claims/billing experience
Previous experience with CSP Facets
Previous experience with NDB
Intermediate level of issue resolution
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and remain on task with little to no day-to-day supervision
Good organization, planning skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi staff members through the department
Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
