Robert Half Senior Benefits Analyst in Overland Park, Kansas
Description We are in the search for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team located in Overland Park, Kansas. The primary function of the role is to assist with the administration, implementation, and communication of employee health, welfare, and retirement programs. The role is also instrumental in ensuring compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration of U.S., Canadian, and Bahamian benefit plans and programs, ensuring adherence to legal regulations and company policies.
• Facilitate and coordinate the Annual Enrollment process, working closely with TPA and vendors.
• Act as the go-to person for queries related to benefit and retirement plans and policies, providing solutions to complex issues.
• Manage the company's disability plans, ensuring accurate and timely status updates and payments.
• Maintain effective relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure leave policies are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations, updating policies as necessary.
• Conduct regular audits and oversee the billing for benefit plans.
• Prepare data and reports for non-discriminatory testing, data transmissions, and claims analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement, creating strategies to streamline work processes.
• Collaborate with HR Managers, Payroll, and HRIS in the administration of benefits data.
• Provide counseling to management and staff regarding FMLA, federal law, policies, and procedures.
• Offer data analysis support for union negotiations. Requirements
• Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Benefits Analyst
• Proficiency in Benefits Administration is a crucial requirement for this position
• The candidate should have demonstrable expertise in Benefits Analysis
• A strong understanding and experience in Benefits Design is essential for success in this role
