Job Description

The Senior Sales Compensation Professional interacts with sales associates to resolve any compensation issues and/or drive compensation initiatives. This role will work to influence the department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Responsibilities may include;

  • Build queries/reports for management on a monthly or as needed basis and then review and analyze results

  • Handle in-depth research of any data issues

  • Create monthly metrics and reporting on monthly data and analyze them for potential outliers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Mathematics

  • 2 or more years of technical experience as a compensation professional

  • Demonstrated experience in MS Access and/or MS Excel

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to tell a story, draw insights and make recommendations utilizing data

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products

  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Dedication to accuracy and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven organization

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Preferred Qualifications

  • Organizational development experience

  • Deep analytical reporting experience

  • SQL experience

  • Highly organized and self-driven with an ability to meet multiple deadlines

  • Proven consultation skills in a business-facing role

  • 5 or more years of technical experience
