Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Extranet Connectivity Network Engineer to manage and optimize extranet connectivity solutions, ensuring secure and efficient communication across diverse networks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Point-to-Point BGP (P2P BGP), Site-to-Site VPN (S2S VPN), Firewall management, and Zscaler (Cloud Security Platform). This role is critical in ensuring reliable, high-performance, and secure connections between our organization and external networks, partners, and clients.

  • Manage and configure Point-to-Point BGP (P2P BGP) for external BGP sessions, ensuring optimal routing and fault tolerance across partner connections.

  • Oversee and manage Site-to-Site VPN (S2S VPN) configurations to secure data exchanges between remote sites and external business partners.

  • Configure and maintain BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), both internal and external, to ensure robust and reliable routing between internal and external networks. Implement and optimize IP routing and network policies to meet organizational security, performance, and operational needs.

  • Monitor routing tables and troubleshooting routing issues to ensure minimal network disruptions and maximum uptime.

  • Firewall Configuration and Security Management:

  • Implement and manage Zscaler solutions to provide secure internet access and cloud security for external and remote users.

  • Ensure secure application access, URL filtering, data loss prevention (DLP), and threat protection using Zscaler’s cloud-based security services.

  • Configure and monitor Zscaler’s security policies to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.

  • Work closely with internal teams (security, infrastructure, and IT support) and external partners to plan, deploy, and maintain extranet connectivity solutions.

  • Collaborate with service providers, third-party vendors, and partners to ensure SLA compliance and the successful resolution of issues related to extranet connectivity.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on the design, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures for all extranet connectivity solutions.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of extranet connectivity, security incidents, and optimization efforts.

  • Develop and maintain runbooks for troubleshooting and support related to P2P BGP, S2S VPN, firewalls, and Zscaler configurations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Point to Point BGP P2P BGP, Site to Site VPN S2S VPN, Firewall management, and Zscaler Cloud Security Platform.

  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
