TAD PGS, Inc. Test Engineer in Overland Park, Kansas

I am seeking a highly skilledDevelopmental Test Engineerfor a contract position inOverland Park, KS. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

This role is focused on developmental test engineering for radar systems, with a strong emphasis on expertise in RF testing, network security, and familiarity with ASTERIX standards. Below are the key details and requirements for the position:

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required, Must have the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test procedures based on defined requirements.

  • Perform tests and demonstrate results to customers.

  • Resolve complex technical and testing challenges.

  • Contribute to radar system testing (prior experience is a plus).

  • Utilize FEA or DoD testing processes.

  • Conduct tasks including requirement mapping, test procedure development, dry runs, test execution, and reporting.

    Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Experience:

  • 5+ years in test engineering (radar system experience is a plus).

  • Proficiency in RF testing, including RF frequency measurements and analyzers.

  • Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with ASTERIX standards (preferred).

  • Experience with network security (preferred).

    Pay Rate: $30 to $57 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

    Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in test engineering, particularly in radar and RF systems. It requires the ability to develop test procedures, communicate effectively with clients, and address technical challenges confidently.
