12-week Summer Internship

  • May 23rd – August 12th or June 20th – September 9th

What locations to expect:

Locations of individual opportunities are determined by the business and therefore to be interested in on our opportunities you must be open to relocation for the duration of the 12-week internship. All 2022 interns will be assigned to an office location. Relocation is provided to any candidate who is located more than 50 miles outside of the assigned office location.

What you’ll do in your role.

Summary:

Provide tactical, operational, and strategic support for assigned program(s). Work closely with members of the Programs team, collaboratively, and cross-functionally with key stakeholders and leadership.

Program Managers on this team, are responsible for internal and external programs coordinating innovation experiences for entrepreneur and developer collaboration. At a high level this means identifying the intersection of future opportunities, technical feasibility, business objectives and working with cross-functional teams, as well as, key stakeholders in delivery of opportunities.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducts research and analysis in order to help create and manage vision, roadmap and prioritization.

  • Partners with business and internal/external stakeholders to understand and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Creates and assists with presentations and reports.

  • Collaborates and develops positive working relationships with many teams, including sales, commercial accounting, marketing, legal, go-to-market, and finance. Works with outside partners and other third parties.

  • Identify and coordinate innovation thought pieces

  • Deliver reusable collateral for use with program communication and initiatives

  • Leverages internal and external company, as well as, cross-industry insights for product vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • At least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.

  • External applicants eligible only. Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for UofMagenta Internships.

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
