Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri.

OurDyno /Engine Technicianis primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing and rebuilding diesel and compression gas engines to provide an excellent customer experience.

Hourly Base Rate: \$23.52 \$51.11 / hour (Includes shift differential)

Shift: 4 x 10 Monday PM Friday AM 9PM to 730AM

Will train on 1st shift for 3-6 months then move to 3rd shift schedule

Job duties:

• Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on engines as well as diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments
• Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads and available for after-hours calls as needed
• Create a work environment that is considerate of the customers needs
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
• Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, schematics, line diagrams and other related publications.

What will put you ahead:

• Experience with all makes and models of engine rebuilds
• Experience running a Dyno
• Stable work history
• Comfortable operating various types of equipment and implements, diagnostic tooling, various shop hand and electric tools and overhead hoists/cranes
• Ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally
