Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
A typical day in the position involves cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, and using computer systems efficiently. The number one priority at all times is safety.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Perform cycle counts and data entry
Operate saw and other material handling equipment
Maintain knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
Utilize computer systems for inventory control
Read and interpret blueprints and measurements using a ruler
Essential Skills
Experience with forklift operation
Experienced in warehouse operations
Experience as a material handler
Proficiency with computer systems
Strong math and reading skills
Ability to perform cycle counting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
RF scan experience
Inventory control and management
Picking and packing experience
Production and shipping/receiving skills
Experience in construction and water jet operations
1+ years minimum warehouse and production experience in a metals facility or manufacturing-related facility
High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment
The production facility operates within a warehouse environment with high expectations on production numbers and efficiencies. The facility has 150-160 full-time employees. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the client. Shifts available are 1st: 6am-2pm, 2nd: 2pm-10pm, and 3rd: 10pm-6am. Work is required 7 days a week for at least the next 3 months, with 1 Sunday off per month (every 21 working shifts).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Park City, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20
