Job Title: Customer Support AssociateReports to: Customer Support ManagerDepartment: Customer Relations: Order SupportWage: Depending on ExperienceSummary: Pitsco Education values industry-leading customer service. We are looking for a customer-centric Customer Support Associate to join our team who shares this vision. This position is responsible for supporting all components of the order process from quote and order placement to shipment and post-delivery needs. This is achieved through interacting with customers through a variety of communications mediums and settings. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Interacting with customers in a polite and professional manner via incoming and outgoing phone calls, email, chat (text and video), face-to-face communication, and other channels as assignedSupporting all components of the order process including order entry, return process, and customer inquiries Analyzing information received from the customer and exercising independent problem-solving to deliver successful resolutionsRepresenting Pitsco during meetings and potentially at conventions/exhibits/events as requestedContinually obtaining and retaining product knowledge to support customer needsPreparing various information and reports as requested Assisting in various departmental projects as requestedQualifications/Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is requiredPrevious customer-facing experience is preferred but not requiredOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to adhere to processes and proceduresSuccessful in working both within a team and/or independentlyProblem solver with great customer service attitudeAccuracy with a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple tasksAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentagesConfident using a variety of computer applicationsAbility to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop
