Supervisory Responsibilities:None Duties / Responsibilities: Construction and assembly of metal parts used in the manufacture of company product. Construction and assembly of molds and equipment used to manufacture company product. Assists in the assembly and manufacturing of company stair and walk. Performs minor welding and maintenance on company trailers and other manufacturing equipment. Operating safety working equipment and applying safety practice at work while performing his/her duties. Welding spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc. Supervising and identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the supervisors. Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product. Operating other accessory equipment and performing some tasks necessary for welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten, shielded metal arc, flux-cored, plasma, and other types of welding. Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrink of parts. Examining finish products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met. Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment for welding job such as shielded metal arc, gas metal arc or other welding equipment. Arranging and assuring the welded parts to be arranged in order before being assembled into final products; using such tools as square, calipers or rulers. Perform other duties as required by company management. GMAW welding and SAW Welding required.Required Skills / Abilities:Minimal skills, knowledge and abilities include: Certification and/or adequate training in welding and metal work. Able to accurately read a tape measure. Able to read and interpret blue prints. Able to cut and assemble metal parts based on blue prints and written work instructions. Experience maintaining and repairing metal equipment. Must have adequate written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in operating welding and metal cutting equipment. Must be able to lift sixty (60) pounds. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffoldingEducation and Experience:The Welder shall have prior work experience in all aspects of welding and metal working obtained through at least three (3) years of work in a manufacturing environment with at least two (2) years of experience as a welder.
