Duties shall be absorbed as necessary per the Laboratory Manager.
Experience / Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or related field preferred.
Previous laboratory experience preferred.Training Required

HACCP / PC TrainingGeneral Job Description
Perform various analytical methods per AOAC methodology.
Perform microbiological testing and interpretation per ‘Environmental Program’.
Monitor, perform and document daily, weekly and monthly equipment / instrument calibration.
Daily recording of all analytical results in applicable laboratory logs.
Perform 3rd party comparative analytical and microbiological collaborative studies.
Maintain laboratory work areas and equipment in an organized, clean and working condition.
Perform standard maintenance on equipment.
Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
Work in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times.
Complete microbial non-conformance reports.
Responsible for monitoring a preventive control measure, in this position’s absence, refer to ‘In Case of Absence’ above.
Perform other duties as assigned.
