Responsible for a variety of accounting functions, focusing on accounts receivable, posting of payments, and report generation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Posting of all payments in accounting software for Accounts Receivable.
- Daily reconciling of PayPal and credit card payments with the order management system.
- Weekly reconciliation of Ebay orders with the payout report.
- Bi-weekly reconciliation of Amazon orders with the payout report.
- Maintaining expense allocation for the breakdown of shipping bills.
- Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable statements and work with Customer Service and customers to ensure timely payments.
- Responsible for reporting sales and cost of goods from the website sales.
- Review Sales Tax Returns for multiple states and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
- Process multiple Credit Card reconciliations.
- Cross train & assist in other accounting positions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience, 2-3 years preferred, and/or education in accounting and sales tax procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel.
- Experience with ERP software, Google Workspace and QuickBooks preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, compute numbers, and use accounting formulas.
- Ability to maintain positive work relationships through clear communication in a complex environment.
