Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: \$15.00 per hour
Schedule:
10 hour shift, 4x10
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Overtime, Weekend Availability
Job Description:
1 Vision Aviation is a complete, one-stop FAA Certificated Part 145 Repair Station located at the Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Iowa (KSUX) and Salina Regional Airport in Salina, Kansas (KSLN). We have all the necessary capabilities required to care for aircraft needs. 1 Vision Aviation provides a complete range of in-house maintenance and repair options, including heavy checks, modifications, and line maintenance.
Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Paint Apprentice. This entry level position will work alongside Aircraft Painters to prepare aircraft components in compliance with safety and operating procedures.
Qualifications:
US work authorization (Required)
Driver\'s License (Preferred)
Must be 18 years of age.
Background check will be performed with results acceptable to management.
Pre-employment and random drug screening is performed to comply with our Anti-Drug Policy.
Must have a strong drive for top-notch customer service and safety and be a team player with a Can Do attitude.
Ability to read, comprehend and speak English
Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies.
Basic mechanical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Aircraft Masking
Ability to use sanders/grinders/buffers.
Strong attention to details.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree is preferred, not required.
Physical requirements:
Able to lift, crawl, kneel, bend and stoop without restrictions.
Able to lift up to 25lbs. consistently.
Able to stand for long time frames.
