Do you enjoy talking with people and building partnerships, being creative, analyzing information, and project management activities? Independent Connection is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator!
This NEW position will develop, maintain, and grow connections with community partners, businesses, public service professionals, and others throughout our service area. We seek someone with strong communication skills, experience creating plans and evaluating impact, and a willingness to train others.
Key responsibilities will include developing a community engagement plan for Independent Connection. You will develop/deliver promotional activities/presentations, create processes, manage social media campaigns and website changes, create and analyze reports, lead event planning/participation, and guide progress towards our goals. You will participate in orientation to build your knowledge of our current activities/plan and learn about independent living philosophy and our core beliefs.
Educational Requirements
Associate or bachelors degree in communications, marketing, leadership, business or related field or equivalent experience; demonstrated project management successes.
Salary is \$22.00-\$24.00/hr.
