The Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the preschool and toddler rooms, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Key responsibilities include:
Program Oversight:
- Develop and supervise lesson plans and daily activities for the preschool and toddler rooms.
Financial Management:
- Manage billing processes and oversee the program\'s financial operations.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Plan and conduct hiring events, interview applicants, and ensure all required paperwork is completed prior to the start date.
Student Enrollment and Orientation:
- Guide prospective families through the enrollment process, including providing tours, explaining center policies, answering questions, and verifying student documentation prior to their start date.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all operations and facilities comply with Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) regulations and standards.
Field Trip Coordination:
- Plan and organize field trips, develop travel plans, and ensure adherence to state safety regulations.
