Positions Available:FINISH HAND SPRAYER - PAINT.STATUS:Full-Time Summary:Hand Sprayershave the unique talent of an eagle eye forthe sanding and finish process details. Background: Top Candidates have proven experience applying finish on wood, utilizing hand-held devices (spray guns) and other equipment. Proven expertise in solving finish issues and adequately clean equipment. Prior experience in sanding equipment is expected.\ \ Wages:\$20-\$23/Hour -Based on Proven Experience + Attendance. After a 60-Day Training Period: Add 1) Certification Pay + 2) Production Incentive Pay. Add more Certification Pay (Up to \$2.00 / hour) as new skills are learned. Additional Growth: Technical Pay with skilled positions. Production Incentive Pay is based on specific numbers being achieved in production. Production Incentive Pay ranges from \$0.75 to \$4.50 / regular hour. Production Incentive paid on overtime hours.

Schedule:Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Heat Schedule runs 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to review products and materials during the manufacturing process
  • Read and use a mil gauge
  • Understand the correctthickness and how to make adjustments to the finish
  • Able to multi-task projects, work with deadlines, andunderstand priority changes
  • Communicate verbally or in written form.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Follow safety requirements
  • Desire to produce quality parts
  • Willingness to listen to and receive instruction
  • A desire to learn and retain information
  • Ability to transport up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to remain stationary for long periods
  • Willing to learn the Crestwood finish colors, paints, processes, and hand-spray techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to work effectively and courteously with co-workers
  • Understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing company-provided protective equipment
  • Provide regular and consistent attendance - be on time for the work schedule
  • Contribute to the creation of quality parts as defined by company-provided quality standards
  • Willingly participate in all training
  • Be motivated to achieve production targets and other key performance measures
