HealthMark Rehabilitationis aninhousetherapy company, serving the Skilled Nursing Facility patients and residents ofHMGfacilities.
Were currently seeking aFull-time Occupational Therapistto evaluate and treat residents and short-term patients at ourSmoky Hillfacility inSalina, Kansas.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
Develop and implement the Occupational Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
Provide supervision, as needed, for staff Occupational Therapy Assistants in delivery of the OT plans of care.
Assist as needed with patient screenings for the need for Occupational Therapy.
Communicate progress and any barriers toward OT goals with interdisciplinary team members.
Complete timely OT documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each OT patients specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualificationsinclude:
OT degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Kansas license in good standing as an Occupational Therapist.
Meet physical requirements to deliver OT responsibilities.
Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
Successful completion of hiring process / background check.
