The role you’ll contribute:

The Data Systems Specialist maintains the CBORD foodservice software program for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission by monitoring and updating retail recipes, items, and service menus, as needed. Serves as an expert resource to the Adventist Information Technology (AIT) department, NS Director, and employees for Catertrax, Department SharePoint Page, FreshDate, GET mobile, Simphony, CBORD, Odyssey, Menu Display Interface (MDI), and Epicure Digital Menu Boards subject matters. Develops and provides training to employees relating to POS system. Facilitates projects and assignments and monitors for accuracy and timeliness. Supports EVS by providing Quality, HCAHPS, and budget reporting. Reviews and updates policies in NS and EVS in compliance with regulatory standards to include federal, state and accrediting agencies and in adherence to HIPAA regulations, facility confidentiality, and patient rights policies.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Serves as the subject matter expert and resource to the AIT department, NS Director, and employees for Catertrax, Department SharePoint Page, FreshDate, GET mobile, Simphony, CBORD, Odyssey, Menu Display Interface (MDI), and Epicure Digital Menu Boards.

· Ensures items in ordering/inventory portion of CBORD are updated for patient safety and communicates with appropriate individuals on any item changes.

· Develops, implements, and complies with NS and EVS department policies, procedures, and guidelines.

· Maintains and updates retail menu items, pricing, barcodes, screen design, designated groups for reporting etc.

Facilitates, implements, and manages upgrades, including hardware functionality and drivers

· Develops and provides software training and training materials to NS leaders, other users, and employees.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years in hospital or related food service supervision preferred

· ServSafe Certification preferred

· Bachelor’s degree preferred
