Service Technician
Description:
Hoidale is looking for a hardworking, ready-to-learn, Service Technician with good common sense, computer skills, and mechanical aptitude. This job will consist of installing, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment in the fuel and lubrication industry including, but not limited to, dispensers, cash register (POS) equipment, tank monitors, and pumping equipment. This will be a steady job and a career opportunity. Experience with equipment repair, equipment installation or wiring will be helpful. Basic computer skills are required. Must have a valid drivers license (or the ability to obtain one) with a clean driving record. This position will require year-round outside work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment per customers request
Acquire & maintain vendor training, certifications and licenses to be proficient in the repair and operation of the equipment we sell

Overview of Work:
Members of our technical team are front line customer service representatives for our company. A service technician is often the most frequent contact our customers have with the company, so making a good first and last impression are very important. Only a good attitude, professional appearance and the drive to take care of the customers needs will be accepted. The technician will be trained in the field as well as attend certification classes with our vendors to become proficient in the repair and operation of the equipment we sell. The technician, once trained, will be issued a company truck and be required to be on call on nights & weekends for emergency service calls in a rotation with other technical team members. The workday is dictated by customer need. This could mean starting early and working late. Some overnight travel may be required. Technician is responsible for supplying hand tools needed to perform service calls. Laptop, tablet, and cell phone will be supplied by the company.
Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and testing is required.
