The role you’ll contribute:

The Neuroscience Director is responsible for the leadership and collaboration of the Neuroscience Program, responsible for overseeing the clinical and strategic development and operations of the Neuroscience Institute including Neurodiagnostics ( EEG, and Epilepsy), Neurology, Tele Neuro, Neurosurgery and Neuro IR and marketing and business development as it related to the Neuroscience Program. Key areas of focus include identification and resolution of important operational and/or clinical service delivery concerns, especially those that cross multiple departments and service areas, oversight of all aspects of the programs including development and execution of operational and strategic plans to support the growth and development of the programs and clinical and financial oversight for the programs, including performance improvement initiatives in areas such as revenue, cost, quality outcomes, and culture (patient, physician, and employee experience).

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Manages the development, maintenance, and expansion of the clinical and operational aspect of the campus Service Business Unit for Neuroscience.

· Creates appropriate collaboration among physicians, department leadership and clinical staff to develop an integrated, evidence-based process of care; coordinating resources to ensure effective management of patients between and among inpatient, outpatient, emergency and diagnostic settings.

· Ensures integration of nursing care programs, including outcome standards or key performance indicators and overall goals and objectives, with a particular focus on patient experience and team engagement

· Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the disease-specific programs or centers to meet volume, profitability, quality, and service standards to ultimately drive value across the Neuro continuum of care. Leads interdepartmental and campus-wide initiatives to achieve improvements in clinical care processes, team engagement, patient experience, volume and financial performance. Provides leadership to the development and management of disease-specific programs and needs on all hospital campuses, as needed. Provides consultative services to assigned hospitals as requested.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Master’s degree in business, health administration, or related area or

· Equivalent combination of education and experience, such as Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and 5-7 years’ healthcare management experience
