Actalent Assistant Field Engineer in Shawnee Mission, Kansas
Assistant Field Engineer | Urgent Hire | Paying up to 35+/hr | Entry Level
Description:
Established engineering firm with multiple offices across Kansas seeking to train an entry level graduate who will assist with collecting and analyzes samples of soil, rock, and other earth materials to determine variations in different landscapes and evidence of pollution or climate change.
Your job duties include gathering samples from the test sites, logging samples accurately, confirming drilling locations are accurate, coordinating with utility services, analyzing the data produced from environmental testing, and creating reports of your findings. Most of the work will be done locally in Overland Park, KS. You'll be working on a variety of project ranging from construction of small coffee shops, large commercial parking lots, logistic centers, sport fields, school additions, and highway expansions. You WILL be paid for overtime. 100% field work in during the spring and summer months averaging 50+ hour work weeks. Attention to detail is HIGHEST priority.
