This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Perform a wide range of mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. Perform single phase and 3 phase electrical trouble shooting and repairs on production and plant equipment. Perform fabrication and welding job duties as needed. Applicant must be able to lift 70+ lbs. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Applicant must possess basic computer skills. Industrial Maintenance experience required. Other duties will be assigned by your supervisor. This position is slated to work on the weekend performing preventative maintenance.
These positions work in a cold (40 degrees and colder), damp to hot (can be in excess of 100 degrees) and humid environment. You must have 6 months work history in the past 12 months with one employer.
