Your role at Clorox:
The main responsibility of the Facilities Technician is to ensure that the plant equipment is properly maintained and that all required preventative maintenance is performed.
In this role, you will:
Essential Functions of the Job:
· Able to work safely after receiving safety training in all OSHA required subjects.
· Have basic computer skills in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PPT, and the ability to learn SAP and the work order system.
· Complete training and safely demonstrate ability to perform all aspects of the job.
· Understand facility systems to include fire, compressed air, water softener, dock door, dock locks, general facility required plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry work as needed.
· Understand basic HVAC and building exhaust systems.
· Able to replace lighting as needed and perform inspections of life safety and maintain the equipment in good condition.
· Properly select, change and/or top off the lubricants in mechanical equipment installed within the facility.
· Use Clorox Standards to select grease application methods that are least intrusive and most effective for the machines.
· Determines volume of lubricants required for re-grease and interval required to maintain the facility equipment using the Clorox Lubrication Standards.
· Responsible for the facilities environmental task to include used oil, battery, lighting and hazardous waste storage and disposal.
· Must comply with scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance requirements.
What we look for:

· Basic understanding of electrical systems
· Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools
· Knowledge of SAP PM preferred
· Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
· Ability to work any shift.
· Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Hourly Compensation : $25.07
