Job Overview/Summary
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The expectation of the maintenance coordinator is to provide daily leadership for the maintenance team to planned work and production support calls and seeing that all issues are appropriately escalated and resources are allocated as needed. The coordinator will be ensuring that maintenance communication meetings are conducted daily in accordance with existing structure, and all SAP work orders are correctly entered into the system for tracking and planning. The coordinator will support production calls and daily scheduled work plan completion, as well as support Continuous Improvement (CI) activities. The coordinator will also support the technician training plans to build competencies, and work with Maintenance Leads and Manager for assessing and signing off Skill Block. Effective collaboration with production functions will be critical to delivering operational excellence.

Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Good communication skills
Basic computer, SAP, time-management skills and report writing skills
In-depth knowledge of factory mechanical and electrical systems
Can Read, interpreting and train others on mechanical and electrical drawings
Will support inventory accuracy by ensuring all parts taken from store room are logged and accounted for
Ensures daily Tech notes are accurately aligned with EOS report of downtime and notes sent out at end of shift
Continually assists in the cross training of Maintenance Team and Production Team Members.
Needs to be a self-starter, who is able to effectively motivate others.
