Your role at Clorox:

Clorox is currently in search of a Day Shift ( Thu/Fri/Sat rotating Sun 4:30am-5pm) Packaging/Manufacturing Supervisor. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of success in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing and distribution setting. Key attributes include the ability to excel in developing people, prioritizing safety initiatives, enhancing quality and service standards, achieving cost objectives, facilitating successful new product launches, adeptly managing change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate resources to drive operations, focusing on safety, quality, production, and people development, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.

  • Establish effective daily management systems to address root causes and implement process-centered interventions.

  • Drive operating results to meet safety, quality, production output, OEE, cost, and material management targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

  • Establish and maintain process standards for the shift, providing input into team performance evaluations and handling escalated requests and issues.

  • Foster a safe working environment and promote daily engagement and accountability among team members through feedback, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Develop intervention strategies to optimize work teams and collaborate with the Plant HR Manager to drive engagement and compliance.

  • Own development plans for crew leads and ensure leader standard work is completed to standard.

  • Lead sustainability and improvement efforts, including centerlines, CILs, and abnormality tracking, to maintain world-class standards.

  • Implement Continuous Improvement Processes to deliver measurable and sustainable improvements.

  • Prioritize problem-solving initiatives, lead loss discussions in Tier meetings, and manage changeover, startup, and shutdown processes.

  • Support production schedules and adherence, collaborate with Training & Quality for program development and execution.

  • Manage a complete production crew, providing direction to Distribution and Maintenance, overseeing approximately 30 full-time employees and contingent workers as required.

What we look for:

  • 2+ years of operational management or production supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated operational technical expertise.

  • Ability to resolve issues using data-driven approaches.

  • Proficient in people and team building, fostering collaborative environments.

  • Skilled in team facilitation and consensus-building across organizational levels.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or 6-Sigma methodologies preferred.

  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantageous preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical/Engineering, Operations, Business, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400

–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800

–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
