Amentum Production Control Supervisor in Springfield, Virginia
Amentum has an excellent opportunity for a Production Control Supervisor to join our team in our Springfield, VA location. This position will be responsible for oversight of the production control and work management in the Workforce Support Center (WSC); and Preventive Maintenance (PM) work order reporting processes for the Operations and Maintenance teams. Maintains, and updates the CMMS relative to the responsibilities, and work requirements. Manages the BOS-E PM program, and processes; tracks completion progress weekly, and monthly; oversees the Scheduled PM Program, as well as producing, reviewing and updating weekly, monthly reports, to include ad-hoc reports, and providing this information to AMENTUM management, and USG customer.
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance .
Responsibilities:
Maintains the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for BOS-E:
Ensures the proper receipt, review, and processing of equipment related documents for entry into the CMMS.
Screens documents to ensure compliance with submission requirements, to include proper equipment identification
Ensures processing of equipment related documents meet time schedules outlined in the PWS, and local SOP
Maintains, and publishes weekly PM status charts providing data on open PM actions, and completion rates
Maintains, and publishes weekly PM reports detailing scheduled, closed, and open PM data for Operations/Maintenance (O/M) – for Program Management, O/M, and Workforce Management review
Responsible for maintaining, publishing, and uploading PM related reports based on USG required deliverables relative to the contract, and Performance Work Standard (PWS)
Maintains, and publishes metric data reports (historical/current) regarding PM actions, and completion statistics
Maintains a system of files pertaining to PM performance (historical/current) metric data
Provide reports on PM statistical issues as requested by management
Conducts periodic reviews of the CMMS regarding PM equipment records, schedules, and job procedure data to ensure correct, detailed, and proper O/M guideline information is captured/maintained
Assigns job procedures to assigned/maintained equipment based on confirmed O/M requirements, industry standards
Assigns maintained equipment to PM schedules based on O/M, and industry requirements/standards
Conducts monthly review of PM Forecast, to verify schedules
Generates scheduled PM work orders for all corresponding trades
Prints, and distributes PM work orders for corresponding trades
Conducts period Quality Control (QC) reviews of all PM processes
Conducts annual PM audit – holds scheduled sessions with all trades to review corresponding equipment records, PM assignments, schedules, job procedure data; and to ensure PM relevance. Maintains detailed audit records.
Maintains PM work sheets, throughout the closing process
Conducts bi-weekly PM meetings with trades – to discuss statuses of PM work scheduled, and overdue. Discusses work updates - PM related process, and/or USG related requirements
Conducts period review of vendor PM program – ensures proper PM schedules are assigned, and PM requirements are identified. Works with engineers to ensure PM responsibilities are met, and required reports are provided
Updates, and publishes Vendor PM Requirements Listing
Oversees the Work Management Process for BOS-E:
Manages the service call phone request, e-mail request process to ensure procedure compliance
Provides reports on work order statistical issues as requested by management
Ensures daily Quality Control checks on all submitted work order entries; distributes work orders for completion
As needed, utilize ARCHIBUS to receive, analyze and prioritize service calls/work orders for distribution to maintenance and service personnel.
Conducts period reviews of CMMS work order data to ensure procedure compliance
As function of Customer Service, notifies customer of actions being taken and follow up to ensure satisfactory performance of services
Maintain detailed records of service calls, work orders, and metric data
Maintain, coordinate and annotate all updates, delays, progress notes and reschedules using CMMS.
Ensures updates to WSC site, and division procedures related to work requests are conducted
Conducts weekly work order meetings with trades – to discuss statuses of work orders generated, and overdue. Discusses work updates relating to this process
Generate charts, graphs, and/or reporting documents.
Responsible for maintaining, publishing, and uploading work order related reports based on USG required deliverables relative to the contract, and Performance Work Standard (PWS)
Additional responsibilities:
Conducts work management, and PM process QC reviews
Reviews, and updates work management SOP, and work instructions
Maintains, updates, publishes BOS-E work management, PM management related forms
Conducts monthly work management, production control meetings with staff – highlighting work related events, policy changes, goals, directions, progress, etc.
Ensures personnel are properly trained on duties, responsibilities, and polices in work management, and production control
Maintains, and updates Asset Sheet Receipt Record, and Archibus Actions spreadsheet
Maintain knowledge of processes, and procedures for facility operations
Functions as manager in the absence of the Workforce Support Manager
Support, and contributes to company safety guidelines, and regulations
Performs other job-related duties as required
