The ETS Technology Division is focused on being the trusted partner for innovative technology experiences and platforms that enable growth across ETS. The Technology Division has created an internship program for college students interested in pursuing a career in technology. This is a paid, 8- 10 week -long, hybrid internship where interns will be expected to work 37– 40-hour a week. At the conclusion of the Internship, you will have the opportunity to present your project to IT leadership. Interns will receive training in a variety of IT-related activities and will be paired with a mentor who will help support their project work.? ?
As the AI Test Security Intern, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing the security and integrity of ETS’s testing processes. Your work will directly contribute to reducing score cancellations after reporting, safeguarding ETS’s assessment products, and streamlining operations by eliminating manual processes that don't align with ETS’s mission. This is a unique opportunity to apply AI technologies to real-world challenges in test security.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an AI-enabled video playback system to efficiently identify and retrieve test-taker video footage.
Build a visualization tool to detect when AI-generated content, such as ChatGPT responses, is used in test answers.
Implement AI-powered room similarity detection to identify potential cheating rings and suspicious activities.
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, graduating in 2026 or 2027.
Field of Study: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency with AWS tools and services.
Experience with computer vision techniques and generative AI models is preferred.
Knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and/or Angular.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Effective public speaking capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
