What You’ll Be Doing:

Reporting into and serving as a strategic thought partner to the VP of Growth (New Logo) at New Century Health, the Senior Analyst / Associate will be foundational to the organization's new logo pursuits. In addition, the individual will be tasked with developing grass-roots strategies and reporting methods to nurture health plan prospects from introduction to contract.

Notably, the Senior Analyst / Associate will be responsible for supporting industry landscape assessments, relationship and contact reconnaissance, and overall organization and usage of the tactical information acquired during a complex and multi-stakeholder sales process. As a result, this individual will be critical in supporting the company’s growth objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting health plan new logo growth, through strategy development, and tactical strategy execution that both builds sales funnel and enhances our probability for contracting new business:

  • Support the development of best-in-class presentation strategy, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders

  • Prepare materials for top-of-funnel internal meetings, including SalesForce leads reports and other relevant reporting to align senior management on actions needed to advance new logo efforts

  • Harvest and advise on the best way to use new health plans leads, leveraging conference attendee lists, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo

  • Operate closely with Marketing to target health plans and conference attendees with compelling messages and content to convert them into meetings

  • Expand the firm’s knowledge base in states where we do not yet do business

  • Assess competitive landscape, including evaluating how our primary competitors (e.g., AIM Specialty and EviCore) are marketing against us

  • Attend and support client meetings with leadership to ensure appropriate team is organized and all appropriate next steps are addressed Interact with internal and external executives to advance the commercial process and achieve key go-to-market milestones

  • Contribute to the development of reporting, tracking and analytics tools to support team operations and performance management across all phases of the commercial process

The Experience We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years working experience in business development, medical cost savings initiatives, consulting, banking or strategy

  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferably in a health plan or health system environment

  • Previous experience working in healthcare

  • Experience in a strategy management consulting, investment banking, or healthcare focused firm

  • Growth strategy experience, e.g., assessing new business lines, entrepreneurial experience

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity

  • Analytic rigor

  • Drive to get stuff done

  • Resourcefulness--ability to procure detailed data and information

  • Proven time-management skills and attention to detail

  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills, ability to engage in back-and-forth conversation with senior leaders, and ability to develop strong relationships

Technical Requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $85,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
