In this position...

This role is a key driver of growth for our business, as you'll be responsible for managing bids and proposals for a diverse range of clients, including commercial businesses and government entities at the federal, state, and municipal levels. You'll lead the planning, development, and delivery of compelling bids, proposals, and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs. This involves collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization to gather information, develop tailored solutions, and effectively articulate our key differentiators. You'll also coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operational and executive staff, to ensure alignment across departments. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our success in both the commercial and government sectors.

What you'll do...

Bid & Proposal Management:

  • Lead the planning, development, and delivery of compelling bids, proposals, and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.

  • Understand client requirements thoroughly and translate them into winning proposals that highlight our company's strengths and capabilities.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to gather information, develop tailored solutions, and articulate key differentiators.

  • Create persuasive presentations and proposals that effectively convey our value proposition and demonstrate our ability to meet client needs.

  • Ensure proposals are delivered on time and meet all specified requirements.

Coordination & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operational and executive staff, to gather information, develop solutions, and ensure alignment across departments.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.

  • Manage the flow of information and ensure all relevant stakeholders are kept informed.

Proposal Development:

  • Craft persuasive and compelling proposals that highlight our company's strengths, expertise, and ability to meet client needs.

  • Utilize strong writing and editing skills to create clear, concise, and impactful proposals.

  • Ensure proposals are visually appealing and easy to understand.

Client Engagement:

  • Contribute to the development of client relationships by providing insights and support during the bid and proposal process.

  • Understand client needs and preferences to tailor proposals accordingly.

  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor throughout the process.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience working on bids & proposals.

  • 2+ years of experience working closely with stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.

Even better, you may have...

  • Government big experience would be preferred, but not required.

  • Prior fleet management services experience preferred, but not required.

  • Prior presentation and operational experience preferred but not required.

  • Experience with RFPs, RFQs, & RFIs.

  • Prior service or sales contact experience with commercial fleet customers is preferred.

  • Able to answer customer questions regarding service delivery with consideration for operational capabilities.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to think creatively and operate in a dynamic white space environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with other members of the sales team.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to attend meetings and meet with fleet customers and dealers.

  • Ability to comfortably manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources under tight deadlines.
