Job Description

The Business Operations Analyst is a key member of the Oracle Implementation team responsible for the quote to order process within our growing business unit. This person will take a lead role in scoping and quoting Oracle implementation services for early customers and adopters of our new solutions. You will be partnering with Sales and Solution Consultants to identify and document client business requirements; quickly translating those requirements into an Oracle implementation services package. You will create statements of work, professional services terms, project risk assessments and facilitate competitive quotes for the Local Government Global Business Unit.

Business Operations Analyst, Consulting Quote to Order – Local Government Global Industry Unit

The Oracle Local Government Global Industry Unit has created and released new SaaS applications for the Local Government markets using cutting edge technologies. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives.

Who You Are:

The Business Operations Analyst is a key member of the Oracle Implementation team responsible for the quote to order process within our growing business unit. This person will take a lead role in scoping and quoting Oracle implementation services for early customers and adopters of our new solutions. You will be partnering with Sales and Implementations to identify and document client business requirements; quickly translating those requirements into an Oracle implementation services package. You will create statements of work, professional services terms, project risk assessments and facilitate competitive quotes for the Local Government GIU.

Required Qualification: United States Citizen

What you will do:

  • Create Oracle implementation Bid Packages for the Public Administration and Public Safety lines of business

  • Seek approvals and deliver implementation estimates, quotes, RFI/RFP responses and relevant artifacts for Local Government software and hardware solutions

  • Develop trusted relationships with Global Risk Management, Business Operations, Implementation, Sales and Oracle functional leaders to define and craft solution packages for customer implementations

  • Use your background in quote to order processes, systems, and policies to facilitate customer and Oracle business objectives

  • Exhibit acute attention to detail when creating and reviewing Bid Package documents

  • Demonstrate strong business writing skills that conveys relevant information to the reader in a clear, concise, and effective manner

What you've done:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

  • 3+ years’ experience with quoting implementation services and quote to order processes

  • Very process oriented, organized, and able to balance deadlines and priorities

  • Proven self-starter that proactively develops working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Evaluated project financials, estimates and risks

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs, maintaining a high degree of flexibility.

  • Excellent verbal and superior written communication skills

  • Shown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities

It would be awesome if you also had:

  • Oracle Bid Manager accreditation

  • Consulting Sales or Consulting Services experience

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $73,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
