Business Systems Analyst 2Overview of Position Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems.
The Business Systems Analyst will act as a level three support analyst. They will work with external clients, internal support analysts, interface analysts and product/development to troubleshoot and research complex issues. The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple issues with multiple clients at the same time, while providing timely updates to all clients. Strong communication and problem solving skills are necessary for the position.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Work with external clients, internal support analysts, interface analysts and product/development to troubleshoot and research complex issues
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues while providing concise, timely updates to clients
P ull and review transaction logs and HL7 records in both proprietary software and Cloverleaf
Troubleshooting network requests
Work with management, product, development, and interface engineering to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Work independently on issues while managing multiple issues concurrently
Work closely with IT personnel at Change Healthcare and the client’s organization to resolve interface and system application issues
Work with level one and level two support and external clients to provide training, support, and documentation and client escalations
What are the requirements needed for this position?
2+ years of network troubleshooting experience
Experience working with internet communications and coding protocols
Experience with HL7 specifications
Lab or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
Experience with different communication types (VPN, API, SFTP)
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Strong written/communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience working directly with internal and external customers
Demonstrated problem solving skills
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? General office duties
