Evaluate business unit and global Cell Culture Media site data sets to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying capacity trends and projections and lead strategic business performance improvements. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the Production Planning teams, you will work closely with end users to determine information and reporting requirements. The position is expected to be a subject matter expert and can run cross-functional supply chain improvements, Demand Driven Materials Resource Planning and Leadership in Resource Capacity Planning. The position can clearly communicate complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Analyze data, formulate conclusions, and provide summary analysis and recommendations to global Cell Culture Media leadership
+ Consult with production planning, demand planning, and site leadership to identify new reports needed to support business requirements
+ Create and standardize tools at regular intervals, define and influence metrics definitions from a global perspective
+ Support raw material planning for global imMEDIAte Advantage work centers
+ Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the Global Cell Culture Media Sales and Operations Planning process
+ Actively participate in SAP Next implementation across all Cell Culture Media Sites
+ Coordinate and/or lead training for Production and Inventory Planning personnel to evolve teams to adapt DDMRP
Who You Are:
+ Bachelor's Degree in business or technical field (Supply Chain, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Statistics)
+ 5+ years' experience in planning/supply chain management or scheduling functions using an MRP and/or ERP system
+ 2+ years of Cell Culture Media industry experience
+ 2+ years Demand Driven Material Resource Planning
+ Resource Capacity Planning Experience
+ SAP and Microsoft Excel (intermediate) experience required
+ APICS or equivalent certification (CPIM or CLTD)
+ Demand Driven Leader Professional (DDLP) certification
+ Documented leadership ability in process improvement techniques to reduce costs, improve service levels and manage capacity
+ BPCS experience
+ Strong analytical abilities with problem solving techniques, unconditional commitment to teamwork and communication
