Citizens Bank Collection Control Reporting Sr. Analyst (Remote) in Topeka, Kansas
The Consumer Operations Collection Control Reporting Sr. Analyst is responsible for capturing and distributing operational control insights for Collections and Recovery within Consumer Specialty Operations. The colleague will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering reporting solutions to support the operation and drive strategic decision making in a variety of ways. Examples include transaction level reporting to highlight processing exceptions or critical work actions needed and identification of target populations meeting complex eligibility criteria for special risk reviews. The individual will obtain requirements and work closely with Collections & Recovery personnel to develop timely and accurate reporting and insights in support of digital and call center collections customer interactions. The individual will also maintain a library of production reporting including compliance with change control standards as prescribed by divisional policy. The ideal candidate for the role will offer not only strong technical programming ability but business analyst skills as well. The candidate will also be responsible for instituting efficiency and effectiveness enhancements to the reporting program, including automating reports, establishing procedures and cross-training on multiple functions.
Working closely with Strategy Analytics, Operations and Business Line management and personnel to obtain reporting requirements.
Development of reporting and or data extracts using SAS and the appropriate report development life cycle.
Distribution and rationalization of reporting outputs to a wide variety of stakeholders
Significant data mining and research responsibilities, including obtaining access to multiple sources of data and consulting with subject matter experts to understand the practical applications of transaction and status codes
Requires conceptual and practical knowledge in Consumer Lending collections and recovery activity Integrates technological and organizational skills to achieve objectives
Sound working knowledge SAS code in order to mine ad-hoc data and produce regimented data extracts
Ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders to achieve common business goals
Identify and resolve business problems utilizing data mining and analytics
Must communicate business concepts and key business drivers effectively to a wide audience including senior management and diverse stakeholders
2-4 years Financial Industry experience
2-4 years Consumer Collections/Operations experience
Education: Bachelor Degree preferred
Hours and Schedule: Hours: 40
Schedule: M-F 8-5
