Consultant-Market Intelligence & Engagement

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages a diverse set of projects using MS-Project, MS-Excel, and other company tools

  • Facilitates departmental “sprints” and produces weekly status reports and other metrics

  • Interfaces and coordinates with corporate marketing on promotion efforts

  • Works with marketing to drive client engagement using direct mail, e-mail, social media, facilitated forums, webinars, and conferences

  • Work with external vendors (writers, printers, graphic artists, photographers, etc.) to coordinate the design, development and production of informational media.

  • Develops informational, promotional, and educational materials for internal staff, clients, and/or other stakeholders

  • Creates and/or edits presentation materials for use at conferences, sales events, or information sharing forums

  • Collaborates on the management and administration of Content Management Software/Platforms; Manages market-facing content on both internal and external platforms

  • Facilitates and participates in knowledge sharing forums either in person and/or on digital platforms

  • Support sales efforts by providing market information, client intelligence, proposal writing and/or presentation development

  • Analyze external marketplace, industry trends and public customer & competitor conversations

  • Performs primary and secondary market research including market surveys, database searches, web searches, review of industry magazines and materials

  • Analyzes data, write reports and prepare recommendations; Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations; summarizes research data, findings and recommendations; provides data to internal clients as requested.

  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to plan, implement, manage, coordinate and execute social media programs & initiatives

  • Monitor social media sites and coordinate response with internal resources

  • Write, post and promote content that encourages customer participation & community engagement

  • Identify, interpret, monitor and capitalize on social media trends as well as provide new social media strategy recommendations

  • Understand our brand, products and customers to ensure copy meets the marketing strategy and reflects the brand

  • All other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience required

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Project Management

    RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical skills to translate business questions into analysis outputs

  • Ability to tabulate data, interpret the data, and counsel stakeholders regarding implications and opportunities

  • Understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms, tools for optimization and industry trends

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to design and deliver presentations

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proactive ability to identify opportunities, and propose new and better methods to achieve business objectives

  • Intellectual curiosity, self-motivated, and a can-do attitude

  • Passion for the healthcare business and consumer engagement.
