Position Summary & Responsibilities: Creative Coordinator\ We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Creative Coordinator to support our Communications team in executing innovative design and multimedia projects. This role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your creativity will be valued and your ideas will contribute to impactful communication.
Responsibilities:\ Collaborate with the Director of Communications to produce high-quality internal and external materials, including marketing assets, educational resources, and event collateral.\ Manage project details from inception to completion, ensuring all work adheres to our high standards and deadlines.\ Design and create layouts for brochures, publications, and presentations that effectively convey information.\ Enhance visuals by correcting and editing both low and high-resolution images.\ Contribute to content development for social media, marketing, and web platforms.\ Organize and maintain an archive of all creative assets to streamline future projects.\ Own and develop our brand identity by creating a cohesive style guide for all divisions.\ Proofread and edit content to ensure quality and consistency.\ Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.\ Oversee content and graphics on our website, ensuring sections such as the KDOL homepage, Careers, and Employers are visually appealing and up-to-date.\ Create and edit videos as needed to enhance our communication efforts.\ Serve as a backup for the Social Media and Website Coordinator to ensure seamless operations.\ Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, alongside a solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).\ A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine interest in local government.
