Pearl Interactive Network is seeking to hire a Federal Business Development Director.
The Federal Business Development Director at Pearl Interactive Network is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales and business growth within the federal sector. Job Duties:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets within the federal market segment. Evaluate opportunities from Deltek GovWin and GSA, leading "Go-No-Go" assessments.
Conduct market research, monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks and identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and actively cultivating new partnerships with government agencies and prime contractors
Lead the federal sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and internal teams, to support business objectives.
Develop bid and overview proposal strategies, including win themes and value propositions and selected past performance, driving the development of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate PIN's value proposition and differentiate us in the marketplace.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contract stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts, ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business development processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular updates and reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics to senior leadership and provide strategic recommendations.
Ancillary Duties:
Provide input for press releases, website updates, capability statements, and LinkedIn profiles.
Lead negotiations for teaming agreements.
Assist with the CPARs process for performance evaluations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
15+ years of demonstrated track record in Business Development, with a proven track record of success in selling to Federal government clients and agencies.
Extensive knowledge of the Federal contracting landscape, including procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience with commercial and government systems that support the Federal capture process, e.g., Deltek GovWin, FedBizOpps (FBO), Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and the System for Award Management (SAM).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
