The Role
We are looking for a Director of Technical Marketing to join our core Marketing team at Lumen. As a Director of Technical Marketing, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our overall technical marketing strategy. You will work closely with our product team to implement new product strategies and lead customer research. This position reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing.
Location
This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
Develop technical marketing strategies to drive usage and cross-sell of products.
Create compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
Implement data-driven marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
Assist in defining deployment architectures that further technical proof and validation.
Create content for external 1st party and 3rd party websites.
Develop first meeting presentation content, including product value proposition, benefits, outcomes, etc.
Create product fit validation content.
Develop technical architectures for common deployments.
Provide boilerplate template proposals for Lumen product and service offers.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather insights and support product strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and positioning.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related area.
8+ years of experience with Product Marketing or Technical Marketing.
Experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred but not required.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
