Summary of Role:
The SunPower Financial Products team is looking for a Director Product Management, Financial Products Capital Markets. You will be the voice of our existing Financial Products customers in front of SunPower senior leadership teams. You will own the definition, execution, and delivery of all software relevant to the investment community whose capital powers SunPower's lease and loan offerings. You are strong at execution, and able to collaborate with sales, engineering, business, and finance colleagues to deliver a delightful, cohesive and scalable experience. Your mission is nothing less than to envision the future of solar financing. You will build experiences that surprise and delight investors and unlock growth for SunPower. Your responsibilities will include engaging with our customers in the investor community to identify requirements, defining product features, and working closely with software development teams to launch those features. You will also work with our Capital Markets, Business Development, Treasury, and Finance teams to design and deliver a cohesive customer experience both on- and offline. Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders at all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings. On this team, you'll get to wear many hats, work fast and smart, and iterate quickly. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in product or program management, business development, or technology. Successfully delivered complex products that scaled over time.
Experience with end-to-end product delivery, including building, delivering, and operating products in a consumer-centric space, both desktop, and mobile.
Customer-obsessed. Excellent customer intuition when faced with product tradeoffs.
Strong ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, make recommendations, and drive actions. High attention to detail.
Strong project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on tight deadlines. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A natural team player with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in fintech / digital lending businesses. Experience with capital markets and working with capital providers.
An entrepreneurial spirit who wants to change the world and naturally prefers to move fast.
Ability to dive deep and find gaps that need to be addressed; and effectively identify, communicate and recommend the best available solution to implement.
