Position Description

What does a great Director Sales Executive do? Manages a team of sales executives responsible for the sales of Fiserv commercial print services directly to large-market billers and FIs. This involves creating opportunities directly with marketing and operations departments to sell commercial print and direct mail campaigns.

The position leads the business unit’s efforts to construct solutions against unique and complex client requirements. This position serves as a critical point of aggregation of competitive and product information from across the field. In addition, the position will work with the existing client management team for commercial print accounts to assist in client retention and revenue enhancement as needed. The role will also act as liaison to various industry trade groups to maintain company presence and image.

Work Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to create new client relationships with large-size commercial print buyers

  • Build and manage large-market sales team for Commercial Print and Direct Mal

  • Develop and execute long and short-range sales plans to meet and exceed sales objectives as established by senior leadership.

  • Collaborate and facilitate an excellent working relationship with FOS and GSO senior leadership to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, including product improvements, deal pricing approvals, as well as short term and long term business objectives.

  • Participate in developing new business approaches aligned with FOS strategic commercial print and direct mail initiative, which includes ensuring our sales messaging and pursuits are effectively coordinated with operations across the FOS sites

  • Coordinate pricing and develop and present client proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the Fiserv value proposition.

  • Coordinate with legal resources internally in the negotiation of new agreements with prospective clients.

  • Organize and oversee client RFP responses.

  • Advise on sales activity and client responses. Manage various management reports and updates on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Work closely with product development to identify product requirements around new market initiatives.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :


  • Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent

  • Master’s Degree preferred

Job Related Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years sales and sales management experience with complex products or services in the Commercial Print &/or Direct Marketing industry.

  • Possess knowledge of selling multi-year or multi-service contracts

  • Prior experience cross selling multiple solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets

  • Demonstrated success at leading sales organizations of at least 3-5 associates.

  • A proven track record of success by regularly achieving sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis.
