ManpowerGroup Disabilities Specialized Service Coordinator in Topeka, Kansas
Our client, a government agency, is seeking a Disabilities Specialized Service Coordinator to join their team. As a Disabilities Specialized Service Coordinator, you will be part of the Client Assessment, Referral, and Evaluation (CARE) Program supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Disabilities Specialized Service Coordinator
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Pay Range: $21.00/HR + Benefits
Contract Duration: 12-Months
Job Function:
Lead the research and development of specialized services for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities.
Collaborate with the Home and Community Based Services division to enhance service delivery.
Assist with technical assistance requests from assessors and evaluators regarding individual cases.
Develop and implement a tracking strategy for documenting the services provided.
Research best practices for ID/DD specialized services to support long-term care evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or related conditions.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially in Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience in a team environment and familiarity with nursing facilities is a plus.
