Job Description

The Engagement Owner Development Program (EODP) combines instructor-led, web based, and situational training on the tools and skills necessary to be a successful Engagement Owner at Oracle Health. You will start as an Engagement Analyst (EA) supporting multiple client projects while in the EODP. Graduation is assessed through class participation and completion, demonstration of key learning points, quality outcomes of project work, and mutually agreed upon individual readiness. Once the associate has demonstrated competence and confidence in their ability to execute as an Engagement Analyst, they will graduate from the program with promotion into the Engagement Owner job.

The EA supports the project team ensuring consistent processes across projects, with high client satisfaction, and predictable and profitable project delivery. Requisite training is provided during the program and reinforced and supported by program managers.

At graduation, EAs will demonstrate proficiency in project management tasks: create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements, monitor and report progress/changes against the project plan, show ability to drive implementation by providing motivation and direction to project team as well as be able to complete own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Engagement Analyst (EA) responsibilities include, but are not limited to, client event planning and coordination, event agenda localization, travel coordination, team communication, overall methodology compliance, and project status reporting. The EA also has unique responsibilities related to tracking project financials, managing project hours, and tracking engagement profitability. EAs are expected to demonstrate financial acumen and be proactive and proficient in managing the financials related to their assigned projects. EAs are expected to quickly develop proficiency in the tools required to perform their job: MyBI, Portfolio Project Management (PPM), PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Excel and Project.

As an Engagement Owner, you will, cultivate external client relationships to achieve business objectives. You will direct and support a team of associates responsible for client project deliverables. You will influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and execute project objectives. You will create and maintain project plan based on contractual commitments. You will manage project resources, financials, and scope according to project plan and contractual commitments. You will manage project risks and escalate as appropriate. You will manage project milestones and review regularly with both the internal project and external client teams.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including at least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT education/training, project/program management, financial management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) project consulting, sales, training or project management work experience

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 80-100%, as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $29.86 to $58.17 per hour; from $62,100 to $121,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $28.22 to $52.36 per hour; from $58,700 to $108,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $28.22 to $55.24 per hour; from $58,700 to $114,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Washington Pay Range: from $31.54 to $55.24 per hour; from $65,600 to $114,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
