PDS Optical is looking for an experienced optician seeking part-time employment? Do you have a passion for travel, exploring new places, and meeting new people? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.\ \
We are seeking an experienced Optician who is willing to travel to fill in for others on vacations or leave. This role will involve overnight stays and day-to-day travel across the United States. Travel expenses will be covered or reimbursed by the company.\ \
Position: Flexible Part-Time Traveling Optician\ \
*Responsibilities:\ *\
- Travel to different locations as needed to provide optician services.
- Fill in for other opticians during vacations or leaves of absence.
- Assist customers with selecting and fitting eyewear.
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper alignment of eyeglasses.
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions.
*Requirements:\ *\
- ABO Certified Optician preferred, must attain ABO in 2 years or less.
- Experience working as an optician, preferably in a retail setting.
- Willingness to travel across the United States.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality service.

- Pay range: \$19-\$22 per hour.
- Travel expenses covered or reimbursed by the company.
