The position will involve building and leveraging strong retail relationships in the North American retail market in support of the Facebook hardware vision. This person will be charged with developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy at the customer level as a subset of the overall organizational vision. The candidate will possess analytical skills and have the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management. The candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, working cross-functionally with the Product Management, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop new ways we can improve the purchase experience for customers.

Required Skills:

  1. Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

  2. Define and manage an annual business plan with select retail partners for key activities to be carried out for period, clearly defined store planning, resource allocations, planned investments from retail partner.

  3. Develop and maintain executive relationships with key retail, distributor, and vendor partners in market.

  4. Own inventory planning with forecast management for named retailers.

  5. Manage quarterly Joint Business Plan process.

  6. Support quarterly MDF allocation and reconciliation process.

  7. Review Sell In/Out data to identify new opportunities within existing product ranges.

  8. Plan all new product launches in collaboration with marketing and business operations, deliver clear and concise communication and plan to partners Identify and develop business opportunities within territory.

  9. Provide an objective viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding of commercial and competitive information.

  10. Collaborate and provide retail expertise to other Facebook teams.

  11. Execute and manage Commercial Strategies (MSRP, MAP Policy, Selected Distribution Criteria).

  12. Work closely with Operations to implement a CPFR process with retail and distributor partners.

  13. Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of the market, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.

  2. Proven track record in delivery of sales quotas against business plans.

  3. BA/BS in Business or Marketing related field (or similar work experience).

  4. 7+ years experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development for accounts such as Target, Walmart and/or Best Buy.

  5. Experience managing workload within timeframes.

  6. Negotiation and communication experience with experience in operators, retail & distribution agreements.

  1. Capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources.
