Job Summary

To help us achieve this mission we are looking for a smart and driven Human Resources Business Associate to support our Marketing and Finance organization for North America. The ideal candidate will supply at both day-to-day and strategic work to drive people and organization initiatives that drive capability and support business growth. You’ll work with the HR Business Partner to execute business and HR priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organizational efficiency (performance, organization design & capabilities and organizational change). You will ultimately be an organizational architect that will help craft business and culture for Colgate to be at its best.

General Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for coordinating campus recruitment and owning the Global Marketing Development Program

  • Collaborate to support the business unit or function

  • Collaborate as a member of the Business HR Team, including Business HR Leader, and Business HR Partner, Workforce Planning and Analytics Specialist

  • Chips in to the execution of HR strategy, policies and programs

  • Promote adoption and continuous improvement of the HR Partnership Model and facilitate collaboration among Business HR, CBS HR, (shared services), and COEs HR.

  • Be an integral part of the business and collaborate with Business HR Team, as required, on key business decisions and develop solutions that improve performance and anticipate business needs.

  • Understand local market and external factors to contribute to the development of insights and to support Business HR, COEs and business decisions

  • Runs HR report and analysis to identify people/organizational insights and advise decision making Talent Management

  • Addresses questions from business partners on interpretation of HR policies, collaborating with COEs as needed / called out to Business Partner as needed

  • Understand and apply, as appropriate, the company’s philosophy, principles and programs (including, e.g., total rewards, learning, people development and mobility)

  • Participate to the co-creation, deployment and execution of CoE-developed strategies (including, e.g., rewards & recognition, employer brand, development and learning)

  • Highlight local nuances to Business Partner / COEs as applicable to advise the design and execution of HR programs

  • Support the recruitment, hiring, and social onboarding of staff in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition COE, CBS team and hiring managers

  • Support the preparation and facilitation of talent reviews and leadership planning

  • Collaborate with Business HR Partner and Learning COE to identify learning needs, support the execution of Learning Demand Plan and provide feedback

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinates logistics and arrangements for campus recruiting programs, including orientation and rotational programs – as applicable

  • Support the Business Partner in the execution of compensation actions for key talent, and in ensuring that accurate matches are identified for Salary Surveys

  • Manager international assignment transfers (legal documents, net pay estimates, onboarding) – if applicable Organization Efficiency (Organization Performance, Design, Capabilities and Organizational Change) – Provide as needed support to:

  • Support HR and Business Leaders in the implementation of organization design

  • Support or speared organizational change or transformation initiatives for the business

  • Support Business Partner and Managers in the execution of employee engagement initiatives Positive Employee Relations

  • Advocate for employees through workforce relationships

  • Contribute to leaders’ initiatives to build and maintain a positive employee relations work environment

  • Manage the internal grievance process – bring up sophisticated/high risk cases to Business Partner

  • Support the execution of employee and labor relations training for management and supervisory staff- as needed

  • Work with the Business Partner to establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand the pulse of the organization

  • Advise and mentor business leaders and managers on the resolution of employee inquiries and issues, conferring with Legal as needed

  • Champion the company’s Ethical Leadership standards, behaviors and compliance Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion COEs to implement relevant local initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related subject area, Master’s degree desirable

  • 2-4 years of dynamic HR experience; experience in consumer products industry preferred

  • Experience in implementation of HR initiatives

  • Experience in at least one HR Specialty Area (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design).
