If so, please explore the Jacobs SCADA Technology Integration Group within the Infrastructure Design Group of the People and Places Solutions operating unit. We are a geographically and socially diverse group that delivers exceptional service to internal and external clients for various industry sectors.

With a focus on critical water system infrastructure, you will be faced with challenges from a system resiliency perspective to client organizational and personnel dynamics. The group designs and implements SCADA technology integrated solutions for projects to enable compliance with Industrial Automation Technology best practices, governance regulations and guidelines to effectively operate and maintain designed solutions. You will interact and team with individuals from various geographies and sectors. This gives you the flexibility to own and shape your career. You will oversee all standards and delivery approaches, while working on multiple projects to design, configure, support and maintain Industrial Automation / SCADA systems and their applicable technologies, including the foundational network and computer systems.

Your other key task is to provide supervision of delivery staff, including workload management and quality control of work products associated with integrated delivery of industrial control systems (SCADA). Your responsibility will also include review and recommendation of technologies that should be considered for application to SCADA delivery in the water portfolio and coordination with project managers, vendors and/or service providers for effective project delivery. Travel is estimated up to about 30%.

The base salary range for this position is $127,300 to $304,300 for remote. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Leadership or management experience

  • Recognized degree in Electrical Engineering, Security, Computer Science (or an MBA with applicable experience)

  • Minimum 15 years of experience related to integrated SCADA project delivery

  • Experience with development and application of standards

  • Experience developing cost estimates for delivery of work

  • Experience preparing professional documents (technical memoranda, reports)

  • Strong interest in the field of digital security and resiliency for industrial control systems

  • Strong conceptual thinking and communication skills — the ability to conceptualize complex business and technical requirements into comprehensible models and templates

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of associates in the organization

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with an ability to understand the long-term ("big picture")

  • Ability to think strategically and implement iteratively

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

  • Creative, independent with good problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills

  • Consulting experience

Ideally, You’ll Have:

  • Professional Certifications such as SANS GICSP, CCNA, CCNP, GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID)

  • Product certifications, including Rockwell Automation, Inductive Automation Ignition, VMware Certified Professional

  • Knowledge in programming, networks, and operating systems

  • Knowledge about designing, applying, and deploying technology used for telemetry (radios, cellular, satellite, LoRaWan, Fluid Mesh, etc)

  • Understanding the merging of digital and physical security and SCADA synergies and connections

  • Design-build project delivery experience
